Prosecutors will wait on cases until the offseason, at least. When the money is flowing, they get "settled out of court". It's not uncommon for criminal cases to start up after a player leaves the sport. 78% of NFL players are either bankrupt or are under financial stress within two years of retirement. When that money dries up, the victims still want to make the players pay.
Doubtful there will be any criminal prosecution for the Nevada or Georgia allegations...are there any others?
That made the news? Not that I'm aware of. I imagine after the first couple he learned to get to the payoff before it hit the news. He lost at least one sponsorship over it. Someone probably told him it's cheaper to payout quickly than let it get out and lose income.
