Anyone have experience with "special" furnace filters?
#1
I live in a 2-flat with a common furnace between the two floors.
Wondering if a special filter of some sort might have prevented me from catching the cold I seem to have got from the gal downstairs.
Anyone ghave any experience/recommendations?
Thx . . .

Take all that extra Cat % cable and strangle her. Look on Fatwallet for a deal on some storage containers to hide the body---but remember to wash you hands so you don't catch any germs :-)

Maybe she has Broadband--and you can just use hers once she is gone.

Sorry--after your previous post about lots of Cat % cable I couldn't resist :-)

I have to check the landlord/tenant ordinance to be sure, but I don't think I'm allowed to strangle her for coughing and sneezing. Oh wait, that ordinance doesn't apply to me . . .

Work on building up your immune system. In the long run, it'll help you the most.

The better filter fall into the "can't hurt" category since you are sharing air. Otherwise, they aren't really necessary.

We've gotten better results with the 3M "hyper-super-duper" filters. Less dust, lower allergies in the summer. Reminds me it's about time to replace!

Stop making out with her.

For all you know, you gave her the cold.
Just exhibit symptoms later.

She won't get pregnant from sharing the same plumbing, either.
Relax.

Appears to be a small american company producing locally. I like it.
