Not unique to Ohio. FermiLab had their employee records hacked and a number of employees had their “unemployment “ applied for AND sent elsewhere. My sister learns this a month ago. She spent two days getting her identity locked down and the paperwork started to fix it.

Someone is using my address for unemployment - didn't recognize the name at all.

California just rounded up a bunch of inmates who had been collecting for themselves and family up to 5th cousins or so. The crackdown was timely in it now frees up money that can be sent to applicants in Kenya, Romania and few dozen other hard hit areas.

Bureaucratically things are looking up, the head of the agency that oversaw unemployment (EDD) has been picked to join the Labor Department in Washington.
