I want a sexy assistant! Back in the 80's I used to receive demo software from lots of companies which I would use and then post a review on AOL (hey, that was slick in the day). One was a Personal Information Manager (PIM ala palm style) that would pop up reminders. Instead of a boring box or bing sound it would pop up a sexy girl and in a husky voice it would read off whatever the reminder was.
Ok, so maybe I don't need a sexy assistant (yes I do!) but what I really mean is, where has all the FUN software gone? Remember how we used to associate sounds with every little action the mac made? Remember Oscar the Grouch in the trash can? Why don't we see fun software anymore? Like sexy assistants.
