Word to the wise-think twice about buying an LG TV

About 10 years ago, I got a great deal on a 3-D LG TV / BluRay player bundle. Shortly after, I added an LG Sound Bar. My only complaint was that the remote controllers were NOT “Universal” ( the Panasonic two piece system it replaced had the same problem). A relative took the LG system when I sold my house and, has not mentioned having any problems with it.

That said, in the last 3 ~ 5 years, I have heard of LG owners having a variety of problems with different LG products.

The problem is almost certainly the PC. Possibly HDCP.

This is a pretty common problem with old HDMI cables and newer laptops/TVs.

Try a brand new HDMI cable certified for HDMI v2.0.

...The app is for wireless image-browsing from your phone. It's not especially useful. Don't bother with it.
