Ebay: once again, "You have been automatically enrolled into eBay International Shipping"
#1
I'm in the process of shutting down my ebay biz and as if they want me to hurry up, I get this message - again...

They did this once before and I had to undo it then. What makes them think I've changed my mind?

Actually, I had stopped offering international shipping since it was such a hassle. Since I've been enrolled in their service, I've sold a few items overseas and it couldn't be easier now. The buyer pays an outrageous shipping charge but I only pay the shipping to a hub in Illinois. They take it from there. So far with about 6 international sales there have been zero problems. I'm sold.

that's very nice for you, but isn't that a decision you'd want to make on your own? I want to be the one making the decision for my stuff.

Opting out is just a matter of clicking a link on your shipping preferences page. You can disable international shipping on a listing by listing basis as well.

Yes! But eBay knows what is best for you in the same fashion as Apple.
