would this AC USB charger work with iPods?

Should work, but very poorly.

It's 5v but only 300mA. Would be a rather slow charge.

Thinking the same thing Grim. 500mA is what USB ports are supposed to be rated.

I am 99.5% sure that the prongs are foldable on that one space-time. I have one from another source that is that exact same shape, and the prongs fold. It is in a cables-to-go iPod set.

and it is $9 shipped. A lot of the PC Microstore stuff that is small and lightweight ships USPS in padded envelopes for a buck each, or sometimes free. I get a lot of my cables from them for just that reason.

i use PC Microstore, but the stuff takes FOREVER to get to PA... like 2 weeks or so. :X

I have an Apple USB charger. Says 5v 1 Amp on it. According to their website, it'll work with ALL USB iPods. Normally sells for $30.

I'll sell it for $15 shipped. PM me if you're interested.
