The ESPN score is ahead of the ABC TV live score

Timberwolves/Lakers. Maybe about 5 seconds. That's enough of a gap to sneak in a bet.

Only the bookmaker is watching abc. The MLB live feed is about 1 batter behind the box score that is posted.

This is pretty much how the market works for retail investors. Even when you think you are ahead, you are way behind.

Apple Sports MLB updates are ahead of most tv feeds and definitely ahead of the MLB app

I've noticed that ESPN.com is routinely ahead of the broadcast in numerous sports. During the draft they was a 30 second difference. In MLB, it can be minutes.

It seems like most TV broadcasts have a slight delay (i.e. 2 seconds). If you have a DVR, that'll add another couple of seconds. Never trust your "live" TV to actually be "live", so I doubt you could actually make money on bets.

It's incredibly annoying at Dodgers games in stadium. They have a truly live feed that they show on select monitors, but most are just showing the Spectrum SportsNet feed which is delayed a few seconds. So you'll here the crowd erupt and then you get to see the play on the monitor (at least it gives you a heads up if you're waiting in line at concessions and aren't paying attention!).
