thread order

I was one of those who had hoped for more of the look of the old forum, realizing that was not likely to be. And I'm fine with that, happy to have any forum of these members back up and running. 

I thought it was going to be tougher getting used to the most recent replies of any given thread rising to the top, even though that's the way many forums operate. I must admit, I'm already getting used to that here. I'm not one who sets up a 'follow this thread', so it's kind of nice to see the most current activity right at the top, especially since it's bolded and hard to miss. If I'm not interested, I just skip it and scroll down.

Again, a big 'thanks' to Troy, Larry and the crew.

Yep. I knew the new software would move threads with new posts to the top so I was mentally preparing myself for that. I didn't really expect an option to sort the old way, but it turns out there is (although maybe not ideal).

I'm sticking with the default sort order (move to the top) because the more I thought about it, the more it made sense to me. And probably why 99% of forums work that way. It doesn't take long to get used to.
