I just got an email from Amazon telling me
#1
that my Firelite Drive -- which I got on March 29th -- has shipped. On March 25th. They gave me a tracking number, which even now does not work. All very efficient, I must say. Tongue

Amazon has invested in some very expensive technology referred to in hushed tones as "Past Tense". Emails are projected from the past into the future. Expect this technology to become more popular for accountants.

Cubicle 1: "Sunday's e-mails haven't been sent yet."
Cubicle 2: "That's Mary's job this week."
Cubicle 1: "Mary's out sick."
Cubicle 2: "You volunteering ?"
Cubicle 1 :"Hell,no, she'll just have to catch up like the rest of us have had to."

they seemed to have the carriers misconbobulated, my amazon emails didn't jive w/ the Ritz stuff, but the drives tracked OK thru Ritz and also showed up on the 29th... methinks billb's scenario may be truer than not.
