DiskWarrior Directory Rebuild Caught in "Infinite Loop"

iMac G5 2.0 2GB 10.4.9

Running DiscWarrior 3.0.3 (latest d/l I could find on Alsoft site) from newly-burned CD and trying to rebuild external FW running 10.4.9.

All went well until operation complete, as indicated by dialog box. Clicked "blue" button to OK a restart and now stuck with blue window and the spinning-wheel of activity. Been going about 15 minutes now...

Should I do a command-period? Just a shut-down with the On/Off button on computer? Any thoughts/info appreciated.

First time I ran DW on this machine.

What do you mean by "complete"?

Did DW replace the directory then give you the spinning beachball?

If not, you're fairly safe in holding the Power button. I don't know that Cmd-. will work, or even Force Quit.

Of course, the directory could go south anyway at any time, but I doubt that quitting DW would be the cause.

At any rate, I'd stop it and try again.

not sure that v3.03 supports the G5, though I may be wrong.
Latest on site is 4.

Well, thanks to both youse guys....answers much appreciated. And, the version of DW I have is supposed to support 10.4.9 I'm pretty sure.

In any case, by "complete", and from memory (mine) I believe that DW replaced the "old" directory with the new, at my direction, and then gave me some kind of dialog box to either do another disk or quit; I quit, then got a dialog that "computer will restart automatically soon" and a blue button saying Restart.

I chose to let it restart on its own, then got the DW window which was solid blue with the spinning thing (not beachball - the "progress" spinny-circle thing, and it stayed like that for about 25 min while I awaited replies....

Couldn't take it any longer, so did a restart using computer On/Off button. All seems fine and am not booted from the "rebuilt" FW drive...fingers crossed.
