That sounds low to me, but the high end may be accurate. Laguardia doesn't have a flat rate fare as is required at JFK.

Thank you. My mother gave me one really good piece of advice when I was in college, "have fun." So I do. I guess being able to run off to concerts is a perk of being single. It's my money.

And as for taking you with me, I'll let you know if my friend backs out on me

I live in the area. Islip is great but only if you're on the island and have someone willing to pick you up from the airport. Between JFK and La Guardia, both are a pain in the butt. La Guardia is an easier drive for pickup and drop off but either is fine for public transportation.
