You cannot even store pet food in the usual plastic bins/containers any more due to some type of toxin created by the oil from the food and the plastic. It is now recommended that FDA approved special containers should be used instead. This is the same government agency which assures us the pigs, chickens, and fish contaminated by the same pet food are safe for human consumption. Ahhhhhhhhhhhh ...

We leave the pet food in its original bag then put the whole thing in an airtight plastic container. Don't need no FDA approved container.
