After weeks of using both, Azureus kicks transmissions butt!

Which version of Transmission? It was just updated in the last week to 0.94. Supposed to be much faster.

I replaced Azureus with BoW due to issues with Azureus. I now use Transmission as it seems to complete jobs better than either and is a Universal app, which BoW's isn't.

TVshows works wo issue in Leopard.

I've been using both, and I like Transmission much more.

Azureus is full of crap. Literally. Too much stuff, it's for people concerned more with the process than the result. It's interface gets in the way of doing anything.

I've been using Transmission since something before .92, and all versions after .92 updated just fine with D/Ls in progress.

.94 is indeed faster, and not a resource hog. Left at it's defaults it will use all the bandwidth of your pipe, making even surfing very slow. Adjust the presets, schedule a set back time if needed, adjust your seeding ratio. (That started in .93.)

And tune individual torrent D/L rates if you like.

A simple, clean interface. I've stopped using Azureus because Transmission is just so slick, quick, and easy.

the ONLY reason I chose Azureus is results. I can d/l stuff 5-10 times faster. That is from start to end file. Transmission just hangs and never bothers to manage the torrent.
