I had an AEp set up as AirTune with my AirPort Extreme Base Station. I keep getting drop sounds so I decided to hard reset the AEp. After resetting, I couldn't get the AEp to join my network, and it appears to have two networks, the original and a generic Apple Network XXXX. My IP TV have also stopped working. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

If I understand your problem correctly, you will have to set up the AirPort Express again. You'll have to disconnect from the base station's network before the Airport Utility will recognise the AirPort Express.
Edit: Sorry I originally got "Express" and "Extreme" mixed-up, but I corrected it.

Thanks MacMagus. I followed the instructions but the AEp amber light continues to blink and still remains unable to join the network. Since my IP TV also is not working, I am wondering if there's something I misconfigured on my Base Station. This is really frustrating. Thanks for your help.

Did you change any of the Base Station settings?

Was your AE set up to join your wireless network as a client? If so, and you reset your AE, did you do the reset that erases everything to Factory Default settings? If so, you need to hook an ethernet cable to your AE and launch the Airport Admin Utility to set up over again.

[hijack] Any hints for using AirPort Express to serve AirTunes from another brand of router?
In other words, all computers see my Buffalo router, either wired or wirelessly. I'm soon getting an AirPort Express to provide iTunes to another room. I could also connect the AirPort Express up via Ethernet if I had to. It's my understanding that the AirPort Express can't be used to extend the wireless network without another Apple router; not an issue for me.[/hijack]

Thanks, SKYLANE. I used the ethernet cable and reconfigured everything. It seems to be working now. Just have to see what's wrong with my IPTV now.
