I think I'm in love…

…with NetRenderer. Assuming I can trust him. Does he really work?

It looks like it works.

But since it only takes a snapshot of the static page with no mouseovers, it only gives you a first round of checks on how a page works in IE and at that it only uses a specific web browser window size.

What happens when you mouse over the page elements? IE's support for :hover is sub par.

How does your page format itself for different browser window sizes?

For pages with no dynamic elements and designed for a specific page size, that looks like a very useful tool.

No worries in the other areas you mention.

I set up a site a while back that worked fine in Firefox, Safari, and IE 6. But IE 7 couldn't display ir correctly, in a very dramatic way. It seems that IE 7 doesn't work the way I had specified certain column sizes.

Given the low traffic to this small site and the fact that stats showed that the majority of Windows people accessing it were using IE6, and because I am an under-motivated bag of slime, it has taken me months to get around to trying to figure out what was wrong and fix it.

I will tinker with it some more, but it is now, if NetRenderer is to be believed, displaying acceptably in IE 7.

...with Jennifer Love-Hewitt.

Great rack on that girl; she looked really nice in the last episode.

And no, I'm not repulsed by her derrière.

i have used browsercam and litmus.
http://litmusapp.com/ offers one hour free and works great. it also tests email clients. but it only offers screenshots, not vnc.

There are probably still quite a few users who have their resolution set to 800 X 600. My brother is one.

I have a 1600x1200 monitor set to 800x600 in a kiosk type setting.
Constantly get comments regarding how easy it is to read from far away.
