They're trying to show that the iPhoto loads slowly. They used the Sprint homepage as the test. It's a poorly built site to begin with, so it's no wonder it loads slowly on the iPhone. It's not so much of a testament to the iPhone's speed, as it is to Sprint's inability to build a good web site.

but when you seen an iphone -- "cool, is that an iphone?"

this was a good comment:

What I get from this is Apple makes better looking hardware than Samsung, but Sprint's data service is faster than AT&T's.
Unfortunately for Sprint, the people appear to want the Apple HW and are willing to deal w/ AT&T's service.
