SAN JOSE, Calif. (AP) -- Craigslist is countersuing its minority owner, eBay Inc., alleging it is competing illegally, infringing on their trademark and breaching its duty to shareholders.

BL, ebay owns an approximately 28% stake in CL. ebay sued CL, saying that CL tried to reduce or "dilute" that percentage. CL is now countersuing ebay, saying that on this new service that ebay hosts (kijiji or whatever the heck it is), ebay is calling it a "Craigslist killer". Does that clear it up?

BL, when what...? When did ebay purchase part of CL? I think that was back in 2004, or maybe even earlier. The countersuit article that blu linked to is dated May 13, 2008...
