but you didn't have to wait. And if it arrived damaged.... etc.
Worth the $10 security in knowing as you left the building.

Ah, but I did wait - supposed to arrive today. As you say, if it arrives damaged, I can always walk it back. Just seems to be the story of my life - as soon as I plunk down the cash after waiting for a good deal, a better one pops up. Or, I wait for a better deal and the good one expires.

I bought one last week - didn't that do the trick?

Update: I called Staples and asked if I could return the printer, unopened, for a refund. The CS asked why and I told him it was $10 less at Buy.com. He credited me the $10. I didn't want to mention it would have also been sales tax free from Buy.com.
I have it hooked up as wired ethernet from my Airport express for the machines in the same room, and connected wirelessly to my MacBook and 3 other misc computers via the AE. I didn't use the built-in wireless at all because the machines in the main room are hard wired. Works like a champ.
Shoot! I like it so much I was going to buy another for a friend but they're sold out at Buy.com.

Thanks for the tip to price-match :-)
Now we don't have ABS nor AE; we have a LinkSys wireless router. What will we need to set up a wireless printing for all of our Mac laptops running 10.4.11 and one Windows XP Pro SP3 desktop?

I'd recommend following the instructions in the manual, as it seems to cover nearly every possibility. They suggest using a hard wire connection to do the initial setup. I didn't use the wireless feature at all because I have my AE set for N speed only and didn't want to compromise that by resetting it to accomodate the G speed of the printer. Should I need to access the printer from my G based wireless machines (which run on a separate subnet with their own router), I may set up the wireless for that subnet. Haven't read the whole manual yet to see if I can do that (run both a wired and a wireless setup simultaneously). Alternatively, I could temporarily reset the AE for G acccess on the rare occasions I need to print from G based machines.

olnacl,
does the printer accommodate G speed solely?
