Unlike many, I really enjoyed Cavemen. I liked Men in Trees and wanted to check out Women's Murder Club too Linda2. I enjoyed Kid Nation.

just watched the "Shark" finale.

I'll miss Las Vegas. Pure fluff, but always fun. I loved both Ed and Coop BTW. Just differently. Ed was like old-school Vegas, and Coop was old school but a businessman first.

[quote Panopticon]"Cane" ran just one season on CBS

I thought it was only 6 or 8 episodes, really sucked after the third week.
I'll miss New Amsterdam and Ms. Ryan was the only reason to watch Shark.

K-ville had its moments. At least Anthony Anderson got the role on L&O to replace Jesse Martin.
Yeah, I've never seen Law and Order but that guy Anthony Anderson has quite the range as an actor.

Journeyman and Bionic Woman both gone - I liked both. Only caught one episode of Back to You and and liked it instantly. Kelsey Grammer, Patricia Heaton and Fred Willard made a good team on that show.

Journeyman was really good. I never watched any of the others in that list.

I don't think that I watched more than one episode of any of those shows. Many I'd never heard of. I assume that that writer's strike had a lot to do with many of the cancellations. Shows just didn't get a chance to catch on or people just forgot about them during the strike. Sometimes it takes a few seasons for a show to get established and establish it's core audience. The networks want instant hits, though.

Never even knew of K'ville till a free iTunes download came along. Enjoyed it, but still never saw it "on".

So many shows just slip through the cracks.

I enjoyed Men in Trees and some of the others too.

There have been a lot of ensemble shows of late, and most haven't done much for me.

I didn't watch most of those thirty, but there are several I'll miss:

Journeyman was one of my favorites; a really good show. And Shark, too. James Woods was great.

Others I liked a lot regardless of the production values- Las Vegas. Women's Murder Club, New Amsterdam and even Bionic Woman]/i]. That started out well and then fizzled.

I don't miss any reality shows' departure, and there are still a few too many on the air.

And too many of the "character driven" series were just boring. It got tedious seeing all of the trials and tribulations of what were mainly prime time soap operas. I don't care to know a *lot* about the personal life of the characters.

Life
is a notable exception, and may even blur the line. I can't wait for that to come back!

I guess some shows won't have a chance to "wrap up", though some won't really need to.

And of my favorites that remain-- killing of main characters by the droves?! What the frak! (No, not a BSG spoiler.) The practice of killing off a long-time character as a season finale is really cliche now. Law and Order was an exception, there may have been another, but I don't remember. Just let the character quit, already.
