We are not allowed to sell units as drive only, only in enclosures qualified for the drive. The drive has a 3yr Samsung Factory warranty in addition to our 1yr total solution warranty. We only hope that people will not disassemble our solutions to put take the drive and put inside their laptop and then use our external enclosure for their old drive - can't think many would ever plan on doing such a thing.
