Electric Bike: Have you bought or built one?
#11
Funny you mention that, there's an article about that in my local paper this morning:

[quote Lux Interior]Do you shout this out as you walk past escalators?

Not everyone can shower at work. Some of us sweat profusely with a moderate amount of effort.
Yes, I do.

On the topic of sweat - a lot of people don't realize how big of a difference the right clothing can make. Wear clothing that can wick away sweat, mostly nylon or poly-cotton blends and avoid cotton at all costs. This clothing can be found for cheap if you look around. There's no reason to pay $40 for a nike shirt.

I find underwear to be an important part of the equation.

I had to get passed being a bit sweaty when i got to the office. It dries in about 20 min and i don't smell bad. you smell bad only if you sit in it.

Yes, I do.

No, you don't have the balls. Your bravado is strictly BBBS- Bulletin Board...

That said, you may sweat "a bit", but others may and do sweat far more, far easily.

Yes, wet or dry. It's still there. It still smells, just not quite as bad.

Some of us (and I mean me) don't smell bad even in a heavy sweat. But I've uncomfortable during and afterwards. A combo bike with an electric assist could keep one out of the sweat zone, and I can appreciate that.

[quote Sam3]Huh?!? Most bicycles have 26" or 700cc rims. Folding bikes generally have 20" rims. Where would come the tough time finding these?

[quote Black Landlord]Looks like a fun project-- trouble is, you're going to have a tough time finding a 20" or 26" bike:
Wheel size ≠ size of bike

Wheel size = wheel size
Size of bike = size of bike

You can have a 14" bike with 27" wheels or a 26" bike with 26" wheels.

I don't know what you're getting at here but I'd say that's pretty much an impossibility.
