Recommend an LCD projector?
#1
I know I'll get some great recommendations at 1 A.M.-- need a reasonably priced LCD projector to use the lappy for workshops and presentations. It'll travel on a bike so compact and light would be good. Also, I don't suppose they make 'em with built in speakers so you don't have to lug a set of computer speakers around?
Thx!

Oh, and . . .

Do you, like, get your choice of square or round??

The square one is actually a mini-DVI to DVI adapter, not VGA. http://store.apple.com/1-800-MY-APPLE/We...co=MTUzNTQ&fnode=home/shop_mac/mac_accessories/cables&nplm=M9321G/B

In other words, I found a screw-up on the Apple site.
Is there some policy that I get the price of my last purchase refunded, like when they fail to give you a receipt at Walgreen's?

Yeah. If there were a difference in the price of those two items you could potentially use that to leverage a discount on the other, but since they are the same price I don't see how that could help you. Maybe if you call the Apple Store and mention it they will hook you up with free shipping or something.

As far as projectors go, I know there are at least some models with built-in speaker(s) but they are not very good at all. Better than nothing I suppose, for basic feedback sounds.

You should investigate this system for sound...

I have that system, but not in that color as they don't make my color any more?

It is power brick charges and I use it as a bedside radio, NPR.

A power out for playing iTunes from my Book.

And it is a powered speaker for my iPod!

Plus, I have used it for sound in a laptop projection situation.

Amazing sound from such a small device!

here is what Amazon says...
