my mom can't receive email from verizon.net addresses

Mom is running winblows using outlook with a verizon.net email address herself and she cant receive email from anyone else with a verizon.net address. Any ideas? TIA

Well, for starters you should check her port settings, and make sure her SMTP and POP3 servers are correctly id'ed... Don't know what Verizon wants but they'll tell you.

which wouldn't have anything to do with it if it's only verizon.net addresses she can't receive.

does she have anti-spam software installed, rules set up that may be misconfigured?

or, does this happen from every address, in which case Dick Moore brings up a valid point.

Her lover can receive email from people with verizon.net addresses and he uses the same computer and same program (outlook) as my mom does.
