Theresa and Mary Oktavec are sisters, great-aunts of one of our staffers. I don't know why they were having tea at 3 a.m., but they were, and a man kicked in the side door of their rancher in Millersville. Then all hell broke loose:

Unfortunately, in my area in MD (Montgomery County) we've had multiple break-in's targeting the elderly. They are all bound and then robbed. One, sadly, was not found for several days and had passed away.

Lady in the country around here heard a guy in her house while she was out in the garden, came around to the front of the house to see his car there in the driveway, so she just started smashing it with her hoe.

The guy heard the noise and came out with something of an explative when he saw the extensive damage to the car. I guess he ran off. Police know who he is. Leaving your car in the driveway will help in that regard; I don't know if they have found him yet.

How did you get that video to play?
I installed the latest Flash Player for OSX (9.0.124) and the video still wouldn't play except by going to the link to their older player. That one must have been WMV which played as a Quicktime video (with Flip4Mac).

I later found out it was a M$ Silverlight video which doesn't work on a PPC Mac. They didn't get the message that NBC sports dropped Silverlight after the Olympics and went back to Flash.

It played fine for me on a MDD G4 Dual 1.25 and OS 10.4.11 and Flash Player 9.0 r124 and Safari 3.1.2 (4525.22).
