Windows media files on intel mac?

How can I get windows media files to play on intel mac?

The flip4mac version (2.02) package says it won't install and there is no Widows media player for intel macs as far as I can tell.

Is there a workaround or some other player. I have been asked to review some promotional movies at a non-prof site and need some help.

WiMP runs quite well on the MacBooks. Downloaded off M$ website without a hitch.
