I've now replaced an aging Braun foil shaver w/a Remington R7130:
$18.xx on eBay (+ $10 sh). It's their top of the line rotary that goes for $80 on Amazon. I've heard Remington's warranty/CS dept is very good, so no worries buying from some unknown eBay vendor (since some Amazon reviews complain of this mdl self-destructing).
My quick review:
I replaced my old Braun foil shaver with the Remington. The R7130 does not exude the feeling of luxury in build as the Braun does. It's on/off button feels a little imprecise, as does even dis/connecting the ac/chrgr cord. It's sound is not quiet like a Norelco, the noise is higher-pitched and gravelly.
*But* it does give a great shave, better than the Braun ever did, esp on the neck and under the chin. And the pop-up trimmer is far better in all ways. I recommend it, and at the price (most of his R7130 auctions go for <$20), it's a no-brainer.
