I ordered the 100-pack of "Kodak Ener G" AA alkaline batteries from Bargainoutfitters. What I got was a box of used batteries.
The Bargainoutfitters.com ad does not indicate that the batteries are pulls, but they arrive in a box with this disclaimer:
"Batteries are tested and packaged with minimal previous use..."
Looking at them, I find marks of wear and scratch-marks on a great many of the batteries. It is my impression that they do not perform as well in my camera as new batteries I bought at the grocery store.
I contacted them nicely. They replaced the shipment with one just like it. I contacted them nicely again, telling them their ad was not for used batteries. Now I expect they'll give me a refund after I return both boxes of batteries.
But will they change the ad to indicate that the batteries are not new? It's at:
http://www.bargainoutfitters.com/net/cb/...x?a=380642
Many of the scratches on the batteries are quite definite. These are marks of use, or age, or of seconds that have been handled and banged around. Not new batteries.
Until they change that ad, be advised. Maybe used batteries are just fine. But if that's what they're selling, they need to say so.
