Do you need a replacement for china, silver, crystal, etc?

My latest copy of Saveur had a write up about this website. It seems to have quite a bit of stuff.

Used them for years. They don't however have the stock of 1850's older stuff. You can get '20s 30's and on up. I completed my grandmothers 1890's thru ebay....but Replacements can help ID so silver patterns and some early china patterns. Crystal...they could not place my pre 1941 pattern altho the company was listed.

Good site. There is another good one in Tx but the name escapes me currently.

My mom got a couple pieces from Replacements Ltd...
If you can be patient, they eventually turn up what you need.

My mom got a couple peices to complete a set of Mid 1800's china ( I don't recall specifics) that she's been trying to complete for decades.

Yep, we used them for a piece of silverware. Pricey, but OK.

My wife used to work there. We still maintain some contacts in case there's ever stuff we need.

On the other side of things, it is an absolute horrible place to work.

Yes their stuff is pricey but try selling something to them and you might
as well save your time and effort. My SIL tried to sell my Mother's silverware
to them and what they wanted to give her was a joke compared to what
they are charging for the same pattern. SIL doesn't live too far from the
place.

Stumbled upon this place while visiting Seattle a few years ago...

Not cheap, but found a few items to fill out my china collection.

We haven't had great experiences with Replacements. They listed our cut crystal pattern, which we wanted to fill out, so we ordered quite a few. They all looked like bad molded glass knockoffs. In one, the stem appeared melted, and the glass tilted to one side.

We were _really_ disappointed. We sent them all back.

This is a pretty good place for replacement silver. They don't do china or crystal:

Good luck.
