outputting video from iPhone 3G?
#1
I'm watching a hockey game on my iPhone 3G using an app from the app store and want to know if it's possible to output the video and audio to a tv using the Apple AV cables. I've hooked it up to the tv and I can get the audio but the vid is a no go. Am I missing a settings change or something? Or is it not set up to allow for video output like this? Orrrr, is it dependent on the app being used?

Any input is appreciated. Thnx

It works for iTunes video only.

Watching the Justin.TV app?

if not which one?

Yeah, JTV.

Thanks for the info. Disappointing, though. I wouldn't have even cared if the picture was bad.

Hmmm, be nice to have an iPad and that app!

Thanks again for the help.

I tried doing this yesterday with the Masters iPhone app before CBS coverage started. Same result, obviously.

All is forgiven with Apple since the Flyers beat the Rangers, I was able to watch it via the web feed on my Mac. Still woulda been sweet to output the vid. Curse you Steve Jobs :-)
