Samsung BD-C5000 Blu-Ray w/ Streaming Netflix (and widgets)... Any good?
#1
@ around $100 thinking this would be a good choice over an AppleTV seeing I don't have any iTunes movie/tv content to make me want one (yet). However, not having any Blu-Ray DVD's not even sure I want a Blu-Ray player. Still thinking of just grabbing a Roku or holding out for a Boxee Box or a GoogleTV device.

Other than Netflix... I guess it would be nice if Hulu and Youtube (Well, maybe) was supported.

But, this looks like a nice option. Anyone have one.

I've got Samsung's BD-C6500 Blu -ray player and I really like it now. I had some issues with it 's WiFi connection when I was still using my old Linksys WRT55AG router but since buying a Negtear WNDR3700 it has been pretty solid and strreaming Netflix has been great.

I have a Samsung Blu-Ray with built-in WiFi. I bought it for its network connectivity mostly. It connects to my WiFi with no issues. I have watched YouTube on it and have also streamed content from my MB. One thing I have noticed is that the YouTube content is much more limited than what you get with a computer. Copyright issues I suppose.

The Apple TV or Roku box would be a better fit for your needs.
