CD/DVD autoloader & ripper for Mac?
#1
Does such a thing exist?

I looked at the DupliQ 25 disc capacity unit, but is says it only supports Win 2000/XP.

Haven't had any luck with a quick search for a Mac compatible equivalent.

Disk autoloaders, the last time I looked at them, were too expensive for my tastes.

You could go a more simple route, and just get a duplicator. Those prices aren't way in outer space.

The app Toast can be queued up to burn multiple copies. All you need to do is check on it every once in a while and load the disks.

How many copies are you talking about and how frequently do you need them?

If you make multiple copies of Toast on one computer you can run them independently of each other and control multiple CD/DVD burners.

I've done this many times with two burners connected to the same machine. I suspect it can also work with CD/DVD sharing too, although if you have access to multiple computers it might make more sense to simply make copies from multiple computers.

Or use a duplication service and charge it to the client. They aren't all that expensive for occasional use.
