I am missing whatever gene makes people find him funny.

His comedy strives to make people feel uncomfortable.
Some people don't like that feeling whether it's being directed at them or others.
Isn't "comedy" supposed to make you "laugh"? I would't mind feeling uncomfortable if I was laughing. The only laughs I have gotten from Cohen was in Talladega Nights and I am sure it is because he wasn't in charge of it.
It's like that no-talent Don Rickles. "Comics" who beg off that you aren't laughing because you are uncomfortable have merely found the perfect excuse to hide behind.

He could do Freddie Mercury. I'd watch it. He was great as the frenchman in Talledega Nights.

I laughed my head off during "Borat", and almost completely lost it during one scene. Maybe I'm just fond of naughty, smart Jewish pranksters.

Oy vey! Don is an insult comic, which is totally different! You probably didn't understand that since I was typing too fast.

Seriously, though, I love Don Rickles! SBC was great in "Da Ali G Show." I liked Borat, but I would have preferred that he just stuck with the show instead of making the characters into movies.

The Ali G interview with Andy Rooney was hilarious!

I find Cohen uncomfortably funny and he does cross a line that we all wish he would leave well enough alone. But, that's the point.

I'll agree on the Don Rickles not being funny comment. I recall asking my mother where the humor was regarding Rickles when he would appear on Merv or Mike Douglas (back in the day).
