In my case, running MacScan seems to have fixed the slowdown. 61 cookies were found and isolated. if it happens with the new DNSs, at a later time, you might try MacScan.

Retraction Alert! MacScan did NOT, after all, solve my slowdown problem. I did find that the DNS address on the slowing computer were much different from the computers that were not slowing. Now they all have a common address and I hope that will solve the problem.
