PDF/Safari/Preview problem
#1
I am not sure if this is a Safari, Preview or just a nasty PDF problem. Here si what happened.

I opened the Guy Kawasaki's "The Macintosh Way" PDF book in Safari first, then CTRL+Click and opened in preview. I saves a copy, and it took like 5 minutes, no kidding.

During this time I went back to the MRF post and clicked on the link again and saves the file directly to the hard drive instead of opening in Safari or Preview. zip, done. Meanwhile, Safari was still saving the first file.

When finally done, I went to finder to see what is going on. Both file seems fine, I can open both, but look at the file sizes in Finder. The original one is the open I opened in Safari, then Preview and then saved, the second one (***_2) is the one I downloaded directly.

Did you open both to check that they were both the same file? Sometimes downloads are corrupted. What kind of download speeds were you getting? A file can't be saved until its all on your machine.
