A couple of deals for Lenovo Core i7 laptops for $699 and $749

Hi everyone,

Not sure if any of you are looking for a Windows machine (laptop or desktop) but I just bumped across the following deal on dealmac:

In looking up that one, I found that Lenovo has a deal for a similar model that has a smaller drive but, if I'm reading the specs correctly, discrete graphics and USB 3.0 (I couldn't find mention of USB 3.0 on the other model:



I haven't compared price and specs to other machines but based on some numbers I ran a few months ago, the numbers seems to give solid bang for the buck. Definitely do some comparisons to see if the deals are still as solid as I think they are.

That is exactly why there are so many PC laptops.

Yups. $749 for the model with discrete graphics and USB 3.0. That's some nice horsepower for the money. Even in the $699 model that doesn't appear to have discrete graphics or USB 3.0 gives you some nice bang for the buck. I went to Apple's web site to price out a comparable Macbook and didn't even get past the Macbook Air, let alone moving up a MacBook Pro.
