adding thumbnails to ipod movies
#1
my daughter has a few movies on her ipod and visually they all look the same in the browser. Usually just a black screen or the the movie company logo. Not very good for id. So this morning I dragged a bunch of jpgs I have for movie thumbnails on my WDTV into the artwork box for each movie in itunes. Then synced the ipod. Well it did NOT like that one bit. Now most movies show up, but they have NO preview at all and will not play. I say most b/c SOME DO show up with the preview and they DO play. I cannot figure it out at all.

Play a movie in iTunes, then pause it. Right click and you can "Set Poster Frame." That sets the artwork that shows up in iTunes or on the iOS device.

How to undo whatever you did, I dunno.

Cool. My first thought was that there MUST be something like that but I couldn't find anything about it. Will give that a try tomorrow. To undo what i did, I just selected all and cleared the artwork.

I've always had better luck with a tag editor like

or
