Maybe I'll just hire someone to cut my grass and trim the yard.

I just purchased this one from Woot and I love it so far:

When I went to Sears I was pretty frustrated. I really don't want to spend too much... Don't really want a cord... Then don't really want to deal with gas/oil mixture... So, I went back to the drawing board.
I am tempted to grab the Black & Decker 12'' 18V Cordless Trimmer and Edger (comes with two nicad batteries) for $79... http://www.sears.com/black-decker-12inch...011x000001&kpid=07174445000&kispla=07174445000P Or spend another $20 and grab the Black & Decker 12" 20V MAX* Lithium Trimmer/Edger (also have two batteries). http://www.sears.com/black-decker-12-in-...0P?prdNo=3&blockNo=3&blockType=G3 The one just died (Craftsman) lasted long enough to trim my yard so figure I'd get similar lift. Just not sure if I want Lithium or Ni-Cad... Or corded. Bill

Go lithium.

I have an older Sear's gas weed eater and I absolutely cannot get the gas/oil mixture right. One day saw that Sears offers an already mixed bottle. Sure it is a little expensive, but my weed eater starts every time now.
The bottle gets me about 6 trips around my acre.

I'm planning on grabbing this model tonight.
http://www.sears.com/craftsman-weedwacke...0P?prdNo=6&blockNo=6&blockType=G6 I figure I can return if I decide I don't like it or think it's overkill (and it is). |
