Hi,
I'm trying to move my Eudora 6.2 Email into Apple mail on 10.5.8 (Leopard), so I can migrate to 10.8.3 (Mountain Lion). When I try to launch Apple Mail (version 3.5) in 10.5 I get:
AFAIK this is the version that came with the OS or was installed by software update.
Three questions:
Thanks!
Best Wishes,
Mitch
I'm trying to move my Eudora 6.2 Email into Apple mail on 10.5.8 (Leopard), so I can migrate to 10.8.3 (Mountain Lion). When I try to launch Apple Mail (version 3.5) in 10.5 I get:
"You cannot use this version of the application Mail.app with this version of Mac OS X".
AFAIK this is the version that came with the OS or was installed by software update.
Three questions:
- What version of Apple mail do I need for 10.5?
- Easiest way to get it (don't want to buy a copy of pacifist to get it from the OS DVD, and it might be 3.5 anyway)?
- Should I (if possible) use a later version to simplify the migration to Mountain Lion, or do later versions seamlessly import the data from earlier versions?
Thanks!
Best Wishes,
Mitch
