Anyone here flown frontier recently?
#1
Trying to decide whether to bring my MBA on an upcoming trip.
It should be useful for planning activities, figuring out transit system, etc....
Anyone here flow Frontier recently? Do they tend to hassle for things like this? I'd have a carry-on plus a small bag for the laptop alone (I know I could stuff the laptop bag in the carry-on but I'm not sure there will be room...)

If I remember correctly Frontier charges extra if you even think about taking an extra bag.

Wife returned two weeks ago from a round trip from Bergstrom Austin to Denver on Frontier. She was allowed one carry on (wheeled thing) as well as her purse as part of the ticket plus paid $20 each way for a checked bag at check in. She said that they were lenient on the carry ons such as laptops. She had no particular complaints and was in fact impressed at the service. She has mobility problems but we pre-arranged assistance on both ends which worked out great.

Glad to be of help. Forgot to mention that they were $218 including taxes, about $100 cheaper from Austin to Denver than on Southwest for San Antonio to Denver. We live about the same distance from both airports.
