I just got a call from Africa telling to check me email. She wasn't kidding - these are great! She said that this was her last night in the park and she still hadn't seen any lions. They're all on the other side of the river - the group is trying to coax them onto this side of the river, but have failed thus far.

They keep this one watering hole illuminated at night anbd she went out for one last look at the night and saw seven females with cubs and managed to get this shot. Most shots were blurry - she is still new to the SX40 and I'm sure hasn't done any night shots yet. Says she got some video of the cubs frolicking that she will upload when she gets some bandwidth.
