So what's the verdict on the waterless car wash?
#1
We're thinking of having our '01 MPV detailed, as it's beginning to look its age. In the process of researching, I found a local guy who uses waterless car wash, so "no hose needed". Which prompted more googling about waterless car wash, because the very concept seemed foreign to me. Well, there were lots of hits and oddly enough, the only seemingly independent reviews I found showed the product and its use to be a very positive experience.

Anyone here have any experience with them? I'm not talking about the purists who spend hours every week babying their ride. I'm talking about Joe Average who just wants to try to stay ahead of the wear and tear game (and keep the water bill down at the same time). If you've used them, is there a particular brand that you've found better than others? Evidently there are several on the market.

Seacreast as usual has his mind in the gutter. I am thinking about one of those scratch free teflon brushes though. Supposedly work good.

hmm, sandblasting comes to mind.

I don't really know about waterless washing either, seems like it doesn't take all that much water to wash my car by hand, plus I do it about once a year at the most.

I have used several brands of waterless car wash cleaners and the best one was named Dri Wash 'N Guard but it is a little pricey.
