Maybe you, and I, and maybe davester, should start a discussion on just how Saoutchik is pronounced, and the significance of the De Dion Bouton; my old Rover had a De Dion rear end...

I never hit the car discussions groups then, perhaps because I had already found other groups that drove me nuts. Or perhaps it was the 300 baud connect.
I'd bet in Spain Saoutchik is pronounced differently by many, just like in Italy.
A pastry eating friend of mine went to Sicily with his Italian speaking wife.
They had no idea what she was asking for.
Never heard of De Dion Bouton until now. Most of my interest in automobiles is the 20's thru the early 80's.
My wife and I threaten to make Concours in Ct or Amelia Island every year. Not so far.
