8GB 3G iPhone use?

Found the wife's old iPhone 3G and was wondering if there is a use for it. Thanks

My son still likes to play games on my wife's old 3GS, even though he also has her old 4s too. I don't understand it because the resolution is less, and it can't run as many games, but he probably plays with it more. We'll let him take that one to school, but not the 4s. In over a year, he's never lost it, or had any kind of visible damage. Not bad for a 6-year-old.

I use an old iPod Touch just as a music player at work. I imagine a 3G iphone could be used the same way.
