SOLD: 15" MacBook Pro 2.53 GHz, 8 GB RAM, 750 GB HD
#1
I’m getting rid of this MacBook Pro for a family member who recently upgraded to a newer machine. This is the 2009 Unibody model, with an SD card slot (this one: http://www.everymac.com/systems/apple/ma...specs.html ). 2.53 GHz Core 2 Duo processor. This one has been upgraded to 8GB RAM, a 750 GB hard drive, and had the battery replaced by Apple within the past year or two. I’ve got the original box (plain white; it was originally a refurbished model), original OS media, a MagSafe charger, and a clear plastic Speck hard case cover. The screen is bright and clear, with no damage to the glass. There are a few very minor scuffs/scratches on the aluminum body, but probably fewer than what I’d expect on a machine of this age. It is in what I would consider very good condition; it lived most of it’s life so far sitting on a desk while in use.

The drive has been zeroed, and the original 10.6 install has been re-loaded and is ready for setup. This machine should be able to run Yosemite (10.10), but whether it’s worth going that route or not would be up to the buyer. My family member didn’t upgrade past 10.6.8 because of some older software they needed to run, and it ran very well on that.

I’m seeing these go for $500-$550 on ebay. I’d like $500 shipped for this one. As always, make me an offer if you don't think my price is fair.

PM me to express interest.
