Other forums?

Have I mentioned that I love this forum?

And the forum's the better for it.

I give much credit to the positivity of this forum to our female members (yeah, I saw it the second I typed it).

A great, great many reasoned, helpful, knowledgeable, and just plain smart posts come from them. Without their generous participation, grace, and wit, this would most likely be or at least approach something like the Comments sections of many sites, rife with even more petty bickering, and rampant name calling and trolling. I seldom see any female presence at other "tech" forums.

Their beneficial influence cannot be over stated. It hurts us all to lose even one.

And of course, I forgot to thank all of you.

Thank you for your presence and contribution.

So THAT'S what an active forum looks like... the death spiral of this one is so slow, you hardly notice that subjects only gather 1/4 the number of responses they once did...

I notice. I hate to say it, because the community is so good, but the help/support aspect has dropped off precipitously, from my experience...

I hope I don't offend anyone by saying this, but it's really become much more of a fun hangout than a place to go for a quick answer to a conundrum, like it used to be.

Maybe we just have fewer conundrums!
