Note that the Stylus S1 has a 28-300mm 2.8 equivalent lens but uses the 1/1.7" sensor so it is not as phsically as large as the 4/3 or aps-c sensor. That is why they can cram such a lens into a compact body. Might be a nice walk around camera. $329 with the applied coupon.

Last time I looked at consumer reports, reliability was similar to all the big name manufacturers.
