I wonder if Trump's Secret Service security detail is getting extra pay...

...given that they have to protect the candidate as well as protect others from him.

The Secret Service protected MSNBC reporter Katy Tur after Donald Trump launched a personal attack at a December rally.

The candidate had previously blasted her as “dishonest” for her coverage of protests at an earlier rally and demanded an apology, which Tur refused to give.

"What a lie. Katy Tur. What a lie it was," Trump said, pointing at Tur from the stage. "Third. Rate. Reporter. Remember that.”

Or if they might need to protect people from the second amendment folks on his campaign staff in case they accidentally or intentionally "vote".

Donald Trump’s North Carolina state director allegedly pulled a gun on multiple Trump staffers but was never admonished by the Trump campaign, according to a lawsuit filed Wednesday.

Vincent Bordini, who is identified as “a dedicated, loyal Trump Campaign staffer” in the suit, accused Earl Phillip of pulling a gun on him in February.

“It happened in Phillip’s Jeep,” the complaint alleges. “Phillip was driving and Vincent was in the passenger seat. Phillip produced a pistol, put his right index finger on the trigger, and drove the barrel into Vincent’s knee cap.”

The .45-caliber pistol was loaded and the safety was off, the complaint said, noting that had the two hit a bump in the road, a bullet hole, at minimum, would have been the result.
