Approximately 50% of the time (it might be less but it seems like every other time) when I try to use Google or Google Maps, it just sits there and won't connect. I can close the browser tab and try again and nothing. Switch to a different browser and nothing. Rinse, repeat and nothing. Then a few minutes later it will work.
While Google is being cranky, I don't have connection problems with any other site. Only Google.

That sounds like some kind of dns issue or something. Something isn't right.

I certainly have had problems with Google when other sites are fine, but I guess I can't complain when it's all free...

MRFriends - what OS and browser are you using? http://maps.google.com loads but no longer works in Safari 7 on Mavericks
Works fine on macOS Sierra and Safari 10.0.
On the other hand, I don't use
anything offered by google except youtube.
That makes you their bitch. Welcome to the club.

Not so much, v63—I never see ads there thanks to uBlock. Google knows what I like to watch but doesn't make any money off my viewing habits.
I need to check that out. They keep playing the same ads over and over.
