Iggy's new album is really good, incidentally.

I've been re-watching DS9 and Enterprise on H&I OTA subchannel and am happily surprised how good some of the episodes are. And even Voyager too (and this before Jeri Ryan has appeared.)

Fun on Amazon from two Star Trek veterans. IMO, the DS9 world is the most fun of all of the shows.

As luck would have it, Doug Drexler posted this scene just today on Facebook; it's one of my favorite scenes from DS9. The whole thing is good, but the meat really starts about 1:15.

Spolier ahead:

The part that always get me to laugh out loud is when they run the simulation and fail miserably resulting in the Moogie getting phasered by the Ferengi rescuers.

Shran has to be one of the single finest characters in all of Trek history...
There was no "warming up" period as with most other new-race characters - Combs hit the ground running, with a nearly fully developed sense of what an Andorian was, and how that should be "done".

And yes, Enterprise was FINALLY being pulled out of it's nose dive into the toilet when the plug was pulled.
It REALLY could have shaped up into a very fine show.

yeasty time travel bovine extreta....

It was unfortunate that Enterprise was officially canceled, when the writers were allowed to do all of the good bits. However, I think the 4th season of Enterprise was amongst the best Star Trek I'd ever seen...

Herman Zimmerman's design of the Enterprise inside and out, is in my opinion, the best trek ship ever.
